A MAN who hid cannabis in his underwear has been ordered to complete 60 hours of unpaid work.
Arfan Ali, 29, of Wainman Street, Pellon, Halifax, was caught during police checks at Stanley Road, King Cross, in February.
A police officer could smell cannabis coming from the vehicle and Ali was arrested.
When he was searched he produced four small bags of cannabis worth around £20 from his underwear.
Calderdale magistrates heard he had been using the drug since the age of 10 and it helps ease his back pain and depression.
