Hundreds of protestors demonstrated outside the National Media Museum in Bradford yesterday to oppose Government plans to close the attraction.

Bradford MP George Galloway said it would be an act of “cultural vandalism” to close the museum at the protest, while actor John Hurt and Monty Phyton star Terry Jones have also spoken out against the plans.

It is believed a final decision on the museum’s future will be made in the autumn.
