There was plenty of fun to be had for young people at the Illingworth Challengers’ fun day in Halifax.
Hundreds of children piled on to the playing fields at Natty Lane, Illingworth, to try out some of the games and stalls on offer.
Among the activities were a gladiator joust, a climbing wall, bouncy castle and an assault course.
Children could also get their faces painted and were treated to music and dance performances from Sambalifax and Out of the Darkness.
Co-ordinator Carol Wadley said: “It was a brilliant day.
“It’s the fourth time we’ve held the fun day and this was by far the most successful one yet. It’s getting quite a following now.
“It wasn’t about making money, it was about having a nice day for the benefit of the community and I think that’s what we got,” she added.
