A creative primary school pupil has bagged a big prize in an art competition organised by Brighouse Tesco.

School children were asked to design an eye-catching picture to promote the store’s new Click and Collect online shopping service.

Imogen Payne, a pupil at St Chad’s primary school, created the winning design which impressed judges with its colour, impact, sense of fun and style.

Eight-year-old Imogen won £250 for the school plus a £25 Tesco gift card for herself.

Her winning artwork will also be printed on 250 re-usable shopping bags.
