RUGBY fan Liz Redmond is trying to keep everybody happy by decking out her shop window in Halifax and Bradford Bulls colours.
Bradford-born Liz runs Hair 19, in King Cross Street, Halifax, and along with her family is a regular at Bulls’ matches.
But she now lives in Greetland and her neighbours – along with some staff and customers – are Fax fans.
The two teams clash in tomorrow’s all-ticket televised Carnegie Challenge Cup clash at the Shay, with the Bulls favourite to dump Fax out of the cup.
But with both teams struggling for form this season, Liz said an upset could be on the cards.
“I think Fax will be up for it and anything can happen in the cup,” she said.
Her father, the late Maurice Lambert, was a member of the board that reformed the then Bradford Northern in 1964.
Liz, husband Trevor and their daughter, Harriet, regularly meet up with relatives at Odsal matches – and if Fax do pull off a shock Liz is expecting a lot of stick from neighbours and customers next week.
“It has already caused a bit of banter,” she said.
