A GINGERBREAD model of Dean Clough is the star attraction at an edible art exhibition today.

The event at The Cooking School, based at the mill complex, is part of a joint open day with Dean Clough Galleries.

The gingerbread model, made by Bradford College lecturer Janice Atack, is a tribute to David Hockney’s Grimm fairy tale etchings, which are featured in the gallery’s new exhibition The 27-Year Itch.

Sitting alongside it will be mouthwatering masterpieces created from sugar and chocolate by The Cooking School’s talented new chef Jason Main.

The open day, from noon to 3pm, will also feature demonstrations and tasting sessions and the chance to find out about half-term cookery courses for children next Wednesday and Thursday, plus a Christmas Treats workshop on Saturday December 17.
