Premier Inn has joined Yorkshire Housing, Connect Housing, Together Housing and Jobcentre plus to support events offering practical help for jobseekers.
The free job seeker event in Halifax is being held at the Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre on Hopwood Lane on Thursday, May 29 between 11am and 2pm.
Job seekers will be able to speak with specialist employment advisors about how and where they can gain knowledge and skills that may help to find a job.
Premier Inn will contribute to the skills workshops, which will cover writing a new CV, getting the best out of Universal Job Match and what employers are looking for from a job application.
Halifax Premier Inn Manager Andrea Heron said: “As a leading local employer these events provide a great way to support people in developing their skills needed to find the right job. Premier Inn will be on hand to offer advice on job applications and selection. Anyone considering a career in customer services should come along.”
Yorkshire Housing’s Steve Gayle said: “If you are looking for work or just want to improve your employability skills – we can help. Every one who attends will receive free entry into a competition to win a new tablet computer. You can book via www.yorkshirehousing.co.uk/signposting or call 0113 825 6148.
