AN action-packed day has been organised to raise cash for a charity which has helped a little girl.
Greetland Community Centre will host an It’s A Knockout tournament for Debra - a national charity for people affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).
Little Holly Shaw, eight, of Greetland, suffers from the genetic skin blistering condition, which means her skin can tear off from touching.
Her mum Leah Taylor has organised the It’s A Knockout event which takes place on Sunday June 3 and still has places for more teams. She said: “We’ve so far got about 18 teams signed up but there’s space for up to 30.
“It’s a great big inflatable assualt course basically. We also have stalls and food. We’re trying to organise a fun fair too, so it’s a fun day for the kids.”
Teams of 10 people each have to raise £500 - that’s £50 per person.
Anyone wanting to sign up a team, or provide a stall on the day, can email Leah on firstname.lastname@example.org.
