Boothtown Juniors football team are delighted after securing a new kit sponsor.
Pennine Housing 2000 have backed the team after Vicky Robertshaw, from Boothtown Partnership, approached the firm requesting new kit and hoodies.
Team manager Julian Dawson said: “Building self esteem plays a huge part in the training and having a great-looking kit has really helped as it gives the team an identity and will hopefully bring us good luck.”
Lindsey Merifield from Pennine Housing said: “The local community is thriving, thanks to the Boothtown Centre and all the classes, clubs and activities it provides, many run by local volunteers.
“It’s great for young people, socially and in terms of health and community spirit. We are pleased we were able to help out.”
