Ladies of the manner gathered and sipped pink fizz in a Holdsworth House afternoon tea to fundraise for Breast Cancer Care.
Co-owner of the Jacobean manor Kim Wynn hosted the pink themed afternoon tea for over 40 ladies who enjoyed home-made cakes, sandwiches, tea and prosecco in the Two AA Rosette restaurant of the Jacobean manor on September 18.
The High Sherriff of West Yorkshire Mrs Virgina Lloyd attended the event.
The event marked the end of a pi nk themed, Breast Cancer Care fundraising summer at the manor.
Holdsworth House’s summer afternoon teas and raffles have raised a total of £1,000 for Breast Cancer Care.
Organiser Kim Wynn said: “It was a fantastic day and a luxurious afternoon tea; with a great atmosphere - the sun even came out for a little bit.”
Ladies enjoyed cocktails on the lawns, as the sun shone.
Holdsworth House general manager Richard Christie said: “It was fantastic to see so many ladies attending the strawberry tea event and that together we can raise money to support the vital work the specialist nurses in Calderdale undertake.”
