The Highways Agency will be replacing the safety barrier on the M62 junction 26 eastbound exit slip road in Bradford next week.
Work will take place overnight between 8pm and 6am from March 11 to March 18.
The exit slip road will be shut on March 11 and March 17 to install and then remove temporary barriers which will be in place during the work to protect bridge piers.
A lane one closure will be in place on the slip road 24 hours a day for the duration of the works.
During the exit slip road closures, eastbound traffic will be diverted off the M62 via the M606 northbound to junction 3 Staithgate, returning south to the M62 junction 26 interchange. Highways Agency project manager Alan Apps said: “During the work we advise road users to plan their journeys to avoid delays. Safety is our top priority and for the safety of road users and road workers we encourage all drivers to drive carefully along the diversion route, keeping within the speed limit, and concentrating on the road ahead.”
