Halifax Wheelchair Rugby League Club has received Lottery funding to develop the first ever integrated wheelchair cheerleading group.

Halifax RLFC’s senior cheerleading group are supporting scheme and the new group have already been invited to perform at the Wheelchair RL World Cup Finals this summer.

The group are looking for disabled and non-disabled men and women to take part in the sessions which start on Monday, January 7 from 8pm to 9pm at Calderdale College Inspire Centre, Dance studio, Francis Street. Sessions are free. For more details call Frank Watene on 01422 342792.
