Liberal Democrats hold Warley seat on Calderdale Council

The Liberal Democrats have won the Warley election.

Sitting councillor Jennifer Pearson held on to her seat with 1,319 votes - a massive 901 majority.

Second place went to Conservative candidate John Foran.

The election was postponed from May because of the sudden death of the Conservative candidate Richard Maycock.
