Staff at Lloyds Banking Group’s Copley data centre had a red hot date with firefighters from Halifax’s King Cross station.
Both groups have helped each other out over the past few months - it all began when the station helped staff out when they had a lack of water during a charity car wash.
In return, Lloyds staff supported their fundraising by manning a stall and were able to give a donation of £2,247. In continued support, staff arranged for firefighters to go to the Copley centre and sell calendars.
Lloyds staff will also help with a Christmas Fayre at Halifax Fire Station, which will be held on Sunday, December 6, from 12.30pm until 5pm.
