Lloyds staff will make a TV appearance to raise money for Save The Children.
Workers at the Copley call centre will appear on ITV1’s entertainment show Born to Shine from 7.30pm this Sunday.
They will be among more than 2,200 volunteers from Lloyds Banking Group who will be taking phone donations during the series’ finale.
The programme involves getting talented young people to mentor celebrities as they learn a new skill and raise money for the charity.
The series will conclude with a fund- raising extravaganza featuring live performances from the five finalists, including actor Nick Moran, actress Tracy-Ann Oberman, comedian Jason Manford, rugby player Gareth Thomas and Emmerdale’s Lesley Dunlop and Tony Audenshaw.
Viewers will be encouraged to donate throughout the show, with Lloyds staff manning the call centres on the night.
Volunteers will take donations from nineteen different call centres across the UK.
