A HALIFAX bank branch manager is among the first in the country to achieve a new professional qualification.
Alison Rayner runs the Commercial Street branch in Halifax town centre and has been awarded the Advance Diploma in Retail Banking Practice.
Her six-month study course was completed through Middlesex University.
It included learning in-depth knowledge of her customer base, competitors, and the local community.
Mrs Rayner, 44, of Pontefract, said it had whet her appetite to learn more about the town where she works.
“The university was really supportive and taught us to analyse information more so we can make more informed decisions,” she said.
