A Halifax-based music PR company has landed the job of promoting the Christmas single of Britain’s Got Talent legends Stavros Flatley.

Quite Great Music PR, based in the Elsie Whiteley Centre, is looking after the promotion of the duo’s single Santa’s Funky Groove.

Ellis Wayman, partner in Quite Great, said: “The single is a bit of Christmas fun and we have been entrusted to get the song featured on television, radio and the press.

“When they contacted us I was delighted as I have always thought the lads were great fun.”

He added: “I have already had the video taken by the major video channels for the Christmas period and we are already getting good support at radio.”

Stavros Flatley are the Cypriot/north London father and son comedy dance duo who wowed the judges in the ITV show Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, where they reached the finals.

They were pipped to the top spot by dance act Diversity, who also beat runner-up Susan Boyle.
