Asbestos exposure man died, aged 80
A MAN who was exposed to asbestos at work died after developing lung cancer.
Retired wire manufacturer operator Russell Noble, 80, died in hospital on April 5.
At an inquest, coroner Roger Whittaker heard Mr Noble had been exposed to asbestos during his working life.
Mr Noble, of Hamble-ton Drive, Halifax, was suffering from lung cancer and asbestosis. He died of pneumonia.
Mr Whittaker could not make a full connection between the asbes-tos exposure and Mr Noble's death. He recorded an open verdict.
