Body of 60-year-old man pulled from reservoir - post mortem confirms drowning
A MAN is thought to have killed himself at a Calderdale beauty spot.
Police were called to Boothwood Reservoir, Rishworth, at 10pm on Saturday.
The body of a 60-year-old Bradford man was pulled from the water.
Police were called to Boothwood Reservoir at Rishworth after motorway officers saw the man's Daewoo parked nearby and went to investigate.
A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "His death is not being treated as suspicious but inquiries are ongoing."
A post mortem examination on monday afternoon concluded the man had drowned.
An inquest is expected to be opened later today (Tuesday).
The man's name has not yet been revealed.
