Calderdale escapes heavy snow, but see amazing video of winter of 1963
Calderdale escaped the worst of the snow which was forecast for Thursday.
But a flurry fell, turning our beauty spots into a wintery scene.

Calderdale Council gritters patrolled the district's roads on Thursday night to prevent the light covering from causing any accidents.
But anyone hoping to build a snowman or fight with snowballs on Friday was disappointed as temperatures rose to 4C, with rain and strong winds on the way. Saturday is expected to be a much milder 7C, with some light showers.
The Met Office today issued weather warnings for Scotland, Northern Ireland and north-west England. Up to 10cm of snow fell in parts of Scotland, the north east and Yorkshire on Thursday, while some southern parts, including East Anglia and Sussex, experienced snowstorms.
In Scotland a motorist was killed when his car slid off an icy road down a bank.
Thursday's covering of snow was nothing compared to some of the heavy snow falls of the past.
