Cannabis found growing in sunbeds
Leeds police made an unusual discovery when raiding a suspected cannabis factory and found the plants being grown in two large sunbeds.
Officers were executing a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act on Nixon Avenue, East End Park when they found the sunbeds packed with plants.
The cannabis was destroyed.
Nobody was at home when neighbourhood police officers, supported by West Yorkshire Police's Operational Support Unit, raided the house following reports from the local community that cannabis was being cultivated at the property.
Inspector Jackie Hawkes, who leads the Burmantofts and Richmond Hill Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "We have uncovered a number of cannabis farms before but never one quite like this.
