Copter show makes return
A BBC documentary featuring Yorkshire Air Ambulance returns to TV screens this week.
BBC One's Helicopter Heroes, which follows the work of two Yorkshire air ambulances, runs every weekday for four consecutive weeks throughout September at 9.15am.
Fronted by Crimewatch presenter Rav Wilding, the series features real-life rescue missions from across the region.
Paul Gowland, director of fund-raising at YAA, said: "We are delighted the BBC has commissioned a fourth series of Helicopter Heroes. It has beben a phenomenal success and we now get fan mail from as far away as Australia. The series has certainly helped to raise awareness of the charity, but also other air ambulances in the UK too."
