Dave is ready for his new challenge
CALDERDALE Police are welcoming a new senior officer to their ranks.
Inspector Dave Browning has been with West Yorkshire Police for 21 years, and joins the area from the Airedale and North Bradford division.
He has previously worked from Halifax for 14 years before promotion took him to other areas of the force.
"I am delighted to be coming back to my roots," said Insp Browning.
"I live in Calderdale and see this as my area. So I am very happy to be working here again."
Insp Browning is in charge of a team that responds to emergency calls.
