Festival raises brass for town's 2 bands
An autumn festival raised money for Hebden Bridge's two brass bands.
The town's junior brass band and B band, which now has its biggest-ever membership, played for visitors to the festival at Holme Street Arts Centre beneath the town's Trades Club.
The bands now have 48 players between them and Sue Holmes, a spokeswoman for the bands said it was a special performance for four of the B band members who were presented with their ties and can now practise with the main band.
