Foster father faces child sex charges
A pensioner accused of sexually abusing and taking indecent photos of his foster children has been bailed by Calderdale magistrates.
The 69-year-old Hipperholme man, who cannot be named to protect his alleged victims, is charged with six counts of rape – three relating to under 16s.
He also faces four counts of sexual touching, two of indecent assault, one of gross indecency, and making nine indecent images of children.
The allegations are believed to relate to two girls in his care between March 23 2002 and March 3 2009.
He will appear at Bradford Crown Court on March 25 and was ordered not to contact the two witnesses or have any unsupervised contact with under 16s.
