Furniture sale helps raise cash for charity
A former florist is raising money for charity by selling off his shop's fixtures and fittings.
Mehmet Patlakoglu shut his shop, Grayson's Florists, Queen's Road, Halifax, at the beginning of the year.
Now he is selling everything from the shelves and cupboards, to florist's equipment and his wife's bicycle, to raise funds for the children's cancer charity Candlelighters. A total of 200 has already been raised.
