Indie boys Stanley in Heaven ready to battle for big break - listen to one of their tracks
THESE young rock stars will battle it out against bands from across the country in a massive talent contest.
Stanley In Heaven stand to win a recording contract and 20,000 funding if they win the Live and Unsigned competition.
The teens, all in the sixth form at Crossley Heath School, Halifax, have already beaten hundreds of other acts to make it to the regional heat later this month.

Drummer Guy Johnston, 17, of Savile Park, said: "We're really looking forward to it. They want us to perform a song that's half one of our own and half a cover version.
"We've chosen our song Dylan and for the cover we're doing Katy Perry's Hot and Cold."
Stanley in Heaven have been together for two years. Joining Guy are 16-year-old bass player Joe Wilde, aka Wildey, from Todmorden, 17-year-old Caleb Grinsdale from Brighouse on guitar and vocals, 17-year-old guitarist and pianist Joe Pritchard, known as JP, from Brighouse, and 16-year-old singer Joey Whitehead, from Todmorden.
The indie rockers have played across Calderdale, as well as at the Manchester Academy.
Joe said: "My ambition is to go on tour."
Guy added: "I'd like one of our songs to get into the Top 40."
Stanley in Heaven's forthcoming gigs include competing in the Battle of Bands at Bar 11 in Halifax on April 2.
