Knife-point robbery in Lidl car park
A MAN was robbed at knife point outside a supermarket by three masked men.
The trio, all wearing scarves covering their faces, came at the victim from behind as he walked through the car park of Lidl, in Tuel Lane, Sowerby Bridge, at around 8pm on Saturday.
One of the suspects pulled out a knife and held it to the man's throat, threatening to attack him.
The victim was then forced to hand over his wallet, mobile phone and some beer he had just bought.
One of the robbers was wearing a black La Coque Sportif jacket with white stripes across the chest and grey areas on the arms and shoulders.
Detective Inspector Ashley Hewitt, from Halifax CID, said: "One of the suspects was wearing this very distinctive jacket. There cannot be many people with the same jacket in Sowerby Bridge so we would urge anyone who knows someone who has a jacket to get in touch with us, even if it only means we can eliminate them from our enquiries."
Anyone with information should call Halifax CID on 01422 337085 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
