Legends of the East come alive
INDIAN culture was on the cards when dancers visited a junior school.
Members of the Annapurna Indian Dance company entertained at Hipperholme Grammar Junior School, Wakefield Road.
Youngsters joined the dancers in performing traditional stories through dance, music and colourful costumes. Children learned about Ganesh the Hindu elephant god and took part in workshops where they learned how to tell stories using facial expressions.
