Lloyds shareholders to approve takeover
Lloyds TSB will ask its shareholders on Wednesday to approve the takeover of HBOS.
The bank's annual meeting takes place at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, Glasgow.
Shareholders need to approve resolutions for the recommended acquisition, and the proposed capital raising, to enable the deal to proceed.
The Lloyds TSB Group has its registered office in Edinburgh and has to hold its annual meetings in Scotland.
