Making the stars
A FAIRYTALE production helped raise money for Children In Need.
More than 400 pupils at Babyballet, Halifax, performed Starmakers at Square Chapel, Halifax, raising about 520.
The production told the story of the Babyballet characters – the fairy, cowboy and teddy.
Starmakers is the first fund-raising event for Babyballet, which principal Claire O'Connor created in 1999 so pre-school children could get involved in the joys of dance, song and movement.
Its members hope to raise 10,000 for the charity before the live BBC show in November.
