Police chief next up in our online questions forum

HAVE you ever wanted to quiz your favourite celebrity or pose a question to someone in the public eye?

Now is your chance because the Courier has teamed up with Yoosk, a new website which puts you in direct touch with the stars on our screens, the well-known and important local figures.

Readers are now being asked to come up with a series of questions – the best of which will then be put to the person in the hot seat.

Next up is Calderdale's Chief Superintendent Ian Levitt.

During his time in Calderdale Mr Levitt has seen violent crime fall by 26 per cent, overseen huge changes in neighbourhood and community policing and is about to see officers armed with Tasers.

Now we want you to come up with original and interesting questions for Mr Levitt by clicking on the icon below.

The questions will then be put to the vote online before the best five are put to him.

So get ready to quiz him about his views on policing in Calderdale, whether knife crime really is an issue for the people of Halifax or whether all police officers should be armed – whatever you like.

You will need to follow the simple Yoosk registration process the first time you visit. Then you can suggest a question, vote for suggestions and rate the answers of Mr Ford and a whole range of other public figures.
