Pom-pom fun with soap star
A FORMER Neighbours star is set to show Calderdale youngsters how to shake their pom-poms.
Australian Robyn Charlesworth, who played policewoman Terri Hall in the soap for around a year, will be teaching cheerleading classes at Babyballet, Halifax.
The professional dance teacher, who also works with cheerleaders at Huddersfield Giants, will be providing tuition for youngsters from age three to adults.
She is also starting acting classes, called Razzmatazz, which are available from four to 16 year olds.
Both start after the half-term, from around February 26.
Claire O'Connor, who runs the song and dance academy, said: "The academy is all about fun and getting babies, children and adults exercising because they enjoy it not because they think they have to.
"And these classes provide the perfect opportunity to do that."
Robyn, who also appeared in Home and Away and teen programme Heartbreak High, is in the area for three years. Her husband Glenn Morrison is vice captain of Bradford Bulls.
