School Proms 2009: Brooksbank School Year 11
The red carpet was laid out for pupils at Brooksbank School, Elland.
And they arrived in style in a fleet of limos for the Y11 prom.
A decorated marquee was erected in the main hall and the 15 and 16-year-olds enjoyed a four-foot high celebration cake made up of individual mini cakes for every guest at the Oscars themed bash.

Entertainment included fire eaters, jugglers and a firework display. Student Liam Parry was DJ.
Head of Year and prom organiser, Lynn Greenwood said: "The prom has been the highlight of the Year 11 calendar for a number of years now. This year the students wanted an 'Oscar Night' theme hence the Oscar Awards and red carpet.
"The students in their beautiful gowns and formal suits would have graced any star-studded Hollywood event."
