School Proms 2009: Brooksbank School Year 13
IT was the final party before they start doing their A-Levels. And the sixth form students of Brooksbank School, Elland, saw it out in style.
More than 100 pupils and 36 teachers attended the sixth form prom at Bertie's Banqueting Rooms, Elland, dressed in all their party best. The year 13 youngsters enjoyed a champagne reception and three-course meal before dancing the night away.

Head boy, Josh Campbell, 18, said: "It was a fantastic night and went brilliantly.
"Everyone really enjoyed themselves, our A levels are coming up really soon now and it was great to let our hair down.
"Some of the teachers were there dancing to the bitter end as well."
Prom King was awarded to Jonathan Atkinson, 18, for wearing a garish ensemble of a grey suit with luminous orange bow tie, cummerbund and handkerchief.
Laura Boyle, 18, was named as Prom Queen.
