School Proms 2009: St Catherine's Catholic High School Year 11

YOUNGSTERS enjoyed a night of glamour to mark their end of year prom.

More than 85 Year 11 pupils and 20 teachers from St Catherine's Catholic High School, Halifax, danced the night away at Sandal Farm, Queensbury.

The GCSE students donned their finest gladrags and enjoyed a carvery and disco at the venue.

Sarah Blackledge, head of Year 11, said: "Everybody looked fantastic and were dressed up beautifully.

"It was a really nice evening and a lot of fun.

"They will all be starting their GCSES when they get back from half term and it was a lovely way to relax for the night."
