Staff were scared... but kids weren't

SNAKES, spiders, lizards and guinea pigs were some of the creatures kids came face to face with at Siddal Primary School.

The visit was part of One World Week, where pupils learn about different countries and their cultures.

Pastoral worker Donna Myers said: "None of them were scared – only the staff."

Children were also shown chinchillas, and experienced foreign dance, art and cookery throughout the week.
