Status Quo cancel Victoria Theatre, Halifax gig
HUNDREDS of disappointed Status Quo fans in Calderdale may have to wait until the New Year to see the rockers in action after they cancelled their Halifax gig.
The band were due to play at the Victoria Theatre on Monday but today (Friday) marketing officer Emma Booth revealed the show would not go ahead after singer Francis Rossi was taken ill with bronchitis.
Shows at Oxford and Harrogate are also cancelled and will be rescheduled.
Fans should retain their tickets for the Halifax gig as they will be valid for the rescheduled show. No date has yet been arranged.
