Student Robert makes a profit on his £25 movie
A BUDDING Hollywood director is delighted after making a profit at his first film premiere.
Sixteen-year-old Robert Frost hired Hebden Bridge Picture House to showcase his film, Corpses and Other Teenage Problems.
Robert, a pupil of North Halifax Grammar School, Illingworth, Halifax, made the 35-minute film for just 25.
He said 120 people bought tickets to the premiere.
"I was really pleased with the turnout. It was great to see a mixture of all ages, as well as people I knew and didn't know," he said.
He plans to use funds to buy lighting rigs and lenses and is already on to writing his next film.
Robert said he was always on the lookout for any other actors or fellow directors to get involved. "I'm always looking for help both in front of and behind the camera," he said.
The film will be released on DVD next month.
