Students' fashion show fund-raising campaign wins enterprise contest
IT IS thumbs-up from a winning enterprise team at Holy Trinity Senior School, Halifax.
Part of Year 7 citizenship lessons involves students learning about charities and how they fund-raise and, over recent weeks, teams of students developed fund-raising campaigns.
The finalists gave a presentation and produced a business plan and Form 7H were the winners with their Fashion Show for Diabetes UK, which will be held in school.
Janet Dunn, business and enterprise officer, said: "The team have a clear vision of what they want to achieve and I am sure they will raise a good amount for Diabetes UK."
