Tesco staff's bike-a-thon feat
Tesco staff were encouraged by shoppers during their 12 hour "bike-a-thon."
Forty workers took turns on an exercise bike at Tesco, Buttershaw, to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Produce manager Carol Turner said customers gave money and she hoped 1,000 would be raised.
The store has pledged to raise a total of 2,000 for Marie Curie which is Tesco's charity of the year and the supermarket will top-up money raised in its stores by 20 per cent.
