Three found guilty in Teddy Simpson murder trial: Businessman's family slam 'senseless and cowardly' killing
THE family of a murdered man whose body was dumped in Wyke have said they will always mourn him.
In a statement released after the jury at Leeds Crown Court found Decosta Daniel, Errol Whitter and Robert Cameron guilty of murder and conspiracy to rob, victim Teddy Simpson's family said it was a "senseless and cowardly" killing.
The jury unanimously found Daniel, 28, of Servia Gardens, Leeds, Whitter 26, of Blenheim View, Woodhouse, Leeds and Cameron, 27, of Richmond Way, Garforth, Leeds guilty of killing 56-year-old Mr Simpson, of Sticker Lane, Laisterdyke, Bradford.
The jury could not reach verdicts on Darren Martin, 37, of Makefield Avenue, Low Moor, Bradford, Anthony Neale 27, of no fixed address or Anthony Davies, 27, of Lloyds Drive, Low Moor.
Mumtaz Ali, 37, of Astral View, Wibsey, Bradford was unanimously cleared.
An eighth man - Sonny Stewart, 26, of Bankfoot, Bradford has already admitted manslaughter and conspiracy to rob.
