Calderdale Council is calling on residents to get involved in shaping the future of the borough.
Locals views will go towards shaping where new homes, jobs and other facilities should be located around Halifax, Brighouse and Elland.
The Council has asked for people to give their input and shape the Calderdale Local Plan, from 12pm on Friday October 19, until 5pm on Friday December 14.
The plan will be looked at in two parts, first to see where the development will generally go and a closer look at the individual sites next year.
Calderdale Council’s Cabinet Member for Economy and Environment, Coun Barry Collins, said: “It is important we plan for new homes, jobs and services, but also that we protect the countryside and character of our towns and villages which give Calderdale its identity.”
