STUDENTS past and present joined together to show their school really has got talent.
As part of their Silver Jubilee celebrations, Rastrick High School held a “Rastrick’s Got Talent” competition.
The performances were varied with acts performing tracks by metal band Slipknot as well as dance groups, drummers and rappers all taking to the stage.
Beatboxer Patrick Hirst was at the World Beatboxing Championships in Paris so was unable to perform but had pre-recorded his entry.
The Year 10 Band performed a Maroon Five track and Gareth Hemmingway and Harriet Adamson performed a cha-cha.
Even the teachers joined in, with Jonathan Marriott, Noel Watkins, Peter Cain and John Garratt forming the RHS Band, and singing the Housemartin’s song Happy Hour.
Louise Wood had a nailbiting wait to be the final performer but closed the show with Adele’s single First Love.
