Friends and family of a much-loved young Halifax woman who would have been 21 today are celebrating her life by creating a charity calendar.

Lisa Saville died in March 2011 after she fell from a moving taxi in City Lane, Wheatley.

As a tribute to the cherished young woman, her mum Debbie, boyfriend Dom Flynn and some of Lisa’s friends have got together to create a calendar.

Dom and a group of Lisa’s male friends have posed for the publication, which will be sold to raise money for charity Child Victims of Crime.

Debbie said the charity has helped Lisa’s younger sisters, Sophie and Chloe.

She said: “Today would be Lisa’s 21st birthday and I wanted to do something special as a tribute to my daughter.

“I got the idea for the calendar from Joan Davison.

“While I was caring for her daughter Mel for a short time, who sadly passed away not so long ago, Joan told me her grandson Shane Davison who is also a friend of Lisa had done one a few years ago with other doormen for charity,

“Shane was supposed to be in the calendar but had to pull out, but he helped me get the guys together.

“Lisa’s boyfriend Dom also got some of his close friends to take part too,

“These are just ordinary guys who went out of their way to do something nice for Lisa and seeing the finished result just makes me feel so proud of all of them,

“I know Lisa would also be proud of them too.

“Thank you to everyone who helped with the calendars, it means so much to me and my family.”

The men in the calendar are Dom Flynn, Tyler Jackson, Heath Fisher, Andy Steward, Kristian Taylor, Josh Murray, Richard William and Andy Smith

The calendars are on sale now for £10 each from the cook shop in Harvey’s department store in Halifax town centre and from The Prospect Inn in Halifax.
