Shoppers in Elland can take advantage of a special Christmas loyalty card.
The four-week scheme is now running for the second year.
It has seen a rise in the number of shops taking part, with over 40 involved.
Customers who join the scheme have to buy an item from just ten of the shops.
They get their card stamped in each shop they make a purchase and are then entered into a prize draw.
Prizes includes a weekend away for two, £250 worth of jewellery from Chesswass jewellers and a party for 15 children at Rough ‘n’ Tumbles activity centre.
Every shop involved with the scheme has contributed a prize.
The final draw will be made at the Elland Christmas market on December 8.
Southgate will be closed from lunch time on the 8th and shops are staying open late.
School children will be at the market singing Christmas songs around the Christmas tree, Father Christmas will be there from 4pm and the loyalty card prize draw will be at 6.30pm.
There will also be free jacket potatoes provided.
Councillor Pat Allen (Lib Dem) said the loyalty card scheme would be even more successful this year.
“Last year was fantastic and it did really well, but this year is going to be even better,” she said.
“We have a weekly meeting every Tuesday and everyone brings something different. People are really into it and it should be a lovely day.”
