Man arrested following aggravated burglary in Bradford

A 24-year-old man has been arrested following reports of an aggravated burglary.

At 2.54pm police were called to Park Road in the Low Moor area of Bradford following the reports.

A car, which is believed to be linked to that incident, was then identified in Huddersfield around 3.30pm and is thought to have been abandoned by the male occupant in Chesil Bank, Quarmby.

Following a number of extensive searches by armed officers, a 24-year-old man was arrested safely from a nearby block of flats around 7.30pm.

Police would like to thank the public for their cooperation while the searches were ongoing.
