Man attacked outside Halifax town centre pub

A MAN was knocked to the floor and punched outside a Halifax pub.

The 30-year-old victim was in George’s Square between 10pm and 11pm on Friday when he was attacked.

He was taken to Calderdale Royal Hospital with face injuries and a broken arm.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his late 30s, about 6ft 2ins tall, of large muscular build with short black hair.

He was wearing a dark jacked and black trousers.
