A man was taken to hospital after he was attacked by another man carrying a bladed weapon.

Police officers were called this morning (Wednesday) to Cumberland Close at 9.15am and found a man with a hand injury.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and enquiries remain ongoing into the incident.
