Man badly injured during stag do in Brighouse

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a violent attack on a man during a stag do.

The victim was in the Richard Oastler pub on Bethel Street in Brighouse stood by a fruit machine when he was punched in the face.

He fell to the floor and then kicked in the face by the same attacker.

He suffered a fractured vertebrae, a broken nose, chipped teeth and a badly swollen eye.

The suspect is described as white, of a “hefty” build, around 5ft 7ins tall and with short cropped hair.

He was wearing a white shirt and grey trousers.
